Ballistic shields should be made for an individual’s use and needs using the length of the shield holder’s forearm, preference of wrist and grip angle, shield shape, shooting ports(left/right hand, positions, etc), surface grain (coarse/fine), and the finished product will be laser engraved with your custom design. Being extremely thin (11mm) and light weight (1.8kg) with a larger protective surface area (18.9″x24.8″), its a shield that’s practical and ergonomic for use in combination with existing armor, firearms, and gear.

Torture Test Results:

First round: 2 shots each of 9x19mm FMJ 115gr and 124gr, No penetration

Second round: 1 shot of 12Ga. Bird Shot, No penetration

Third round: 2 shots of 5.56x45mm M193 55gr No penetration

Fourth round: 2 shots using X-TREME Rifled Slugs 12Ga. 1Oz (factory indication of muzzle velocity of 1500fps), No penetration

Fifth round: 5 shots in a row using a 5.56x45mm M193 55gr, piercing on the 5th hit (as can be seen in the video below), upon inspection it appears repeated impacts on the same spot caused the penetration.
